I had a very intense fear of dentists for most of my life. I used to wait until I was in terrible pain before I would make an appointment and then it was usually too late to save the tooth and I would have an extraction under sedation. When I was in a dentist's chair I would tremble and feel like I was about to pass out.

About 20 years ago, I made an appointment at Franklin Square Dental and was treated by Dr. Magardician. She understood my fear and was very patient and compassionate. Through the years I became less uncomfortable and gained my confidence in her, and my dental health improved. I had so much faith in her that I didn't require sedation any longer - not even for a root canal! I am very grateful for her, and blessed to have found her. For as long as I can remember, I have lived in fear of the dentist. Realizing that I couldn’t avoid the dentist forever, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Magardician based on a recommendation from my sister. Avoiding the dentist had landed me with multiple cavities and a bad case of gingivitis. I was overwhelmed with fear and anxiety of all the treatment that was ahead of me. I quickly learned that there was no reason to be fearful.

I first met Dr. Magardician when my oldest child, Kristina went on a school field trip to her dental office. Kris had so much fun with Dr. M that when it came time for her first dental visit we knew we would go to her. Four children, eighteen years and lots of dental visits since then and we are completely delighted with Dr. Magardician and her staff.

I can honestly say in all these years my kids have never complained when it was time to visit Dr. M. They have gone without hesitation, fear or dread. She is so sensitive to their concerns and always speaks to them about the importance of good dental hygiene. My husband and I are also patients and we are both in agreement that Dr. M is best dentist we have ever had. I only wish I had found her years earlier. She is kind, personable, gentle, patient and always there when we need her. The staff in her office are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I have been going to Dr. M for many years. She has been very compassionate and understanding of my fear of the dentist office. I finally have overcome that fear and it is entirely Dr. M's doing. She has the most updated equipment and works wonders. She will also make herself available if I have an immediate problem.
